Process Serving / Tracing

Documents can be emailed directly to us on info@thorntonlegalservices.com. We print these off then gather information that may assist in locating and identifying the person who needs to be served.
The first visit can usually be made the same day depending on the time of day the papers are received. We often prioritise urgent matters. We base any visits on information gathered from the client to help maximise the chance of success and also keeping costs to a minimum. Once served, a statement of service if provided to you as your proof of service.

Process Serving
We can serve any documents you require. We are happy to provide our service at current Legal Aid rates. We also offer a fixed fee service should your client not qualify.
Witness statements and case building
We offer a service to obtain statements from any potential witness within out local area. This is undertaken at standard legal aid rates or we can agree a fixed fee is this suits your client better. We can also gather evidence to help you build your case such as photographs and measurents.
Tracing
We offer a tracing service. This is on a "no trace no fee basis" and is a fixed fee of £120 plus VAT. We require the full name, date of birth and a last known address of the person to be located. Please call if you have any questions.
